The auction for the sale of salmon fishing quotas in the Baltic Sea and the Gulf of Finland was scheduled for April 20, but no applications were received, and the auction for this product was declared invalid.
The Federal Service for Fisheries of Russia issued a call for the sale of fishing quotas in the Western, Far Eastern and Volga-Caspian basins for a total of 46 product categories. According to journalists, it was planned to hold an auction for 17 salmon fishing quotas in the Baltic Sea and 5 quotas in the Gulf of Finland and other edible products. However, no applications were received for participation in the auction, and they declared the auction invalid.
Only one application was received for two quotas for the production of spinach in the Western Kamchatka and Northern Okhotsk regions. Therefore, the contract with the sole applicant at the initial price will be concluded with the Halibuts East company on Sakhalin. Similarly, it is planned to allocate the navaga fishing quota in the Eastern Sakhalin region to the Priboy Vostok company.
The auction for the remaining products is expected to take place on April 20 and 21.
