FDO has invested 20 million riyals ($52 million) in the farm.<\/p>\n<p>Natural Shrimp Aquaculture Company aims to break the record of 4,600 tonnes of production by 2023. Natural Shrimp Aquaculture Company plans to reach 2,100 tonnes by the end of 2022.<\/p>\n<p>The farm will breed Pacific white shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) using special pathogen-free broodstock imported from the US.<\/p>\n<p>This is FDO\u2019s first investment in shrimp farming projects.
